6.2.8.2. Heat to Power Conversion Equipment

Heat to power conversion equipment can be used in two different control modes:

a) connection of the equipment to a heat supply

If the equipment is connected to an active heat suplly, the equipment is considered to be controlled by the master control schedule

Equipment ORC Turbine receiving driving heat via active heat supply (steam pipe)

b) connection of the equipment to a heat exchanger only

If the equipment is connected to a heat exchanger and not connected to any active heat supply, then the equipment is considered to be controlled by the available waste heat
